Most of you have probably heard that Andrew Garfield threw a bitch fit and left during the middle of the Academy Awards rehearsals inevitably crushing Batkid’s dreams. Andrew Garfield was to deem Batkid as an honorary superhero thus making this wonderful child’s dream come true. Rumors speculated that The Amazing Spider-Man‘s Andrew Garfield did not like the lines that were written for him, and decided to use his own lines. When the writers didn’t like his lines, he left rehearsals in a childlike temper tantrum.

San Francisco Helps Miles' Wish To Be A Superhero Come True

Many people, such as myself, agree that this was something that Andrew Garfield wouldn’t do and after some digging, I found that some recent developments have transpired! A spokesperson for the Academy spoke to E! and told them:

“Due to the nature of a live show, hard decisions sometimes must be made which require the Academy to cut segments due to the logistics of production, Andrew Garfield understood that his segment had to be omitted, and he drove to Disneyland on Monday to spend time with 5-year-old Miles Scott (Batkid) and his family.”

Since the producers at the Academy Awards decided Batkid wasn’t cool enough to be on the show, Andrew Garfield drove from Hollywood to Anaheim to go hang out with Batkid at Disneyland. Maybe he went to go visit the Iron Man/Thor/Captain America exhibit to do some studying? If this is true that he went to Disneyland to hang out with Batkid, then Andrew Garfield really is a superhero.
